Privacy Policy and Terms of usage

This privacy policy and terms of usage explains our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your information by Sharayu Software Private Limited which operates the Momobills application available on Google Play Store, website and other similar platforms. Users are requested to read this Policy and proceed to use the services only if they agree.

The App/Site allows the user to (i) Create Invoices (ii) launch online catalogue (iii) generate invoice link, payment link, and catalogue link which can be sent to their respective customers and users' customers could use the links to view invoices, make payments or place orders.

As we update, improve and expand the Momobills App Service, this Policy may change, so please refer back to it periodically. By accessing the Site, App or otherwise using the Momobills App Services, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of the personal information you provide (including any changes thereto as provided by you) for any of the services that we offer.

We respect the privacy of the users of the Momobills App Services (“users” or “you”) and are committed to reasonably protect it in all respects. The information about the User as collected by us is: (a) information supplied by Users and (b) information automatically tracked while using a mobile device having Momobills App Services enabled (collectively referred to as “Information”). By using Momobills App Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with any term in this Policy, please do not use / avail of the Momobills App Services.

Information Supplied by User

To avail Services on the Momobills App, Users are required to provide certain personal information for the registration process which may include: a) their name, b) email address, c) phone number, d) business entity information including name and address, (e) GST number and any other such information as required. The Information as supplied by the Users enables us to provide the Services and improve the Momobills App Services and provide you the most user-friendly experience. We may use your personal information to provide you with information and services, to tell you about other products and services and/or to send targeted advertisements.

Further, upon downloading the App, Users are requested to share or access to their contact list (as stored on their mobile device on which the App is downloaded), so as to enable the User to create customer list easily for purpose of invoicing. Contact list permission is completely “optional”. You may create your customer list with or without contact permission. The customer list(including from contacts or added otherwise) will be collected and stored on our servers for the purpose of retrieving this data later when you sign in from another device. Your customer list information is also used to share invoice updated with your customers (who might be or might not be Users).

Further, Momobills app service uploads all the following data generated by you while using the service

  • Invoice data
  • Product data including name, description, price and images,
  • Inventory data
  • Orders received
  • Preferences for invoice formatting.
The primary purpose of such backup is for providing restore functionality when user signs in from another device as. In addition, it is also used for providing ability for users to share their invoice details with their customers. When User shares an invoice link (generated from the application) with his/her customer, the customer can open the link in the browser and view the invoice details. The product data uploaded is also used to provide online catalogue feature where User can choose to publish online catalogue of his products and share a link with his/her customers for the purpose of receiving orders for their products.

Information sharing

We do not share any of this data with any 3rd parties (except as may be required by government regulations). We do not sell this data. We may access the data for the sole purpose of improving our services.

Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics, among others, to track the User behaviour on the application. This collection includes only anonymous data and only related to the usage behaviour on the application. No personally identifiable information is collected and no invoice, product, inventory, order specific details are tracked as part of this. This data is used solely for the purpose of improving our services.

Log File Information: Our Servers automatically collect limited Information about your device's connection to the internet, including your IP address, when you visit our Site or use the App. We automatically receive and log Information from the App and/or your browser including but not limited to IP address, your device or computer's name, and your operating system, We may also collect log Information from your device, including but not limited to your location, IP address, your device's name, device's serial number or unique identification number (e.g. UDID on your iOS device, Android ID or ADID on your Android Device), your device operating system, browser type and version, etc.

Cookies: To improve the responsiveness of the Site for our Users, we may use "cookies", or similar electronic tools to collect information to assign each visitor a unique, random number as a User Identification (User ID) to understand the User's individual interests using the identified computer. By continuing to visit the App/Site, you are agreeing to the use of cookies and similar technologies for the purposes we describe in this Policy. If you prefer not to receive cookies or web beacons, then you should stop using Services, or consult your browsing and third party cookie settings. We use cookies and other technologies for analysing and optimising our websites as well as for marketing purposes. Our partners may also assign their own cookies to your browser, a process that we do not control.

Information security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access to or alteration, disclosure or destruction of data including accidental or intentional manipulation, loss from access by unauthorised parties. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems where we store personal data. All Information gathered on the App is securely stored within the controlled database. Access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited.

Regardless of where your personal information is transferred or stored, we take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that personal information is kept secure, however, please understand that no transmission of data over the internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% (one hundred percent) secure. Hence we do not take any responsibility in case of data breach. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. By accepting the terms of this Policy, you agree that the standards and practices being implemented by us, are reasonable and sufficient for the protection of your personal information.

Data retention and deletion policy

Momobills backs up the data entered by you including your customer list details, product list details, profile details, settings and invoice details on backend server. This backup is necessary for customers for the ability to login on multiple devices as well as when user changes the device. Momobills retains this data even if user has signed out of the device. This data will not be shared with any 3rd parties however if you decide to return to using Momobills, you will be able to access your data once you sign in with the same account. Momobills doesn't provide any single click solution to delete all user data. But users can request deletion of their data by emailing us at You may be able to individually delete invoices, products and customer details. Deleting this way will delete from all your devices but data on the backup server will be retained even though not accessible to the user.

Merchant Transactions and payments

Momobills is invoicing platform where Merchants can generate invoices and share with their customers. Momobills and Sharayu Software Private Limited itself does not sell the goods/services offered by the Merchants using the Momobills Software. Momobills does not take any guarantee for the goods or services sold on the platform itself. Momobills itself does not accept any payments between merchants and customers for the goods or services sold. Its sole responsibility of the customers making payments to merchants to ensure that they have received the promised good or services. If someone pays a merchant based on an invoice, and has any dispute regarding the goods/services for which payment was made, that has to be resolved directly with the merchant to whom the payment has been made.

Right to block services

If any merchant is found to have misused Momobills software, we reserve the right to block the user from subsequent usage for the platform. This may include but not limited to using copyrighted material for logos/product images, false representation of products, listing goods/services which are not legally permitted, excessive usage of platform or using it in bad faith. In case we decide to block the user from subsequent usage, the maximum liability we offer is the pro-rated amount of subscription charges paid for which subsription period was still active.


We may alter our Policy from time to time to incorporate necessary changes in technology, applicable law or any other variant. In any case, we reserve the right to change (at any point of time) the terms of this Policy or the Terms of Use. Any changes we make will be effective immediately on notice, which we may give by posting the new policy on the Site. Your use of the Momobills App Services after such notice will be deemed acceptance of such changes. You are advised to review this Policy periodically on the Site to ensure that you are aware of the latest version.
